As kids embark on the coding journey, we’re here to make sure it’s not only educational, but also fun and rewarding. Coding can be full of surprises—sometimes lines of code work perfectly, and other times, the screen freezes or flashes red instead of green or instantly displays the game over message or moves left instead of right or a million other unintended results. But that’s okay! It happens.
The best coders are those who don’t give up when things get tricky. Instead, they face challenges head-on, learn from mistakes, and keep pushing forward.
This year, we’ve put together a series of challenges designed to help our ninjas grow their skills, build confidence, and most importantly—keep having fun! These aren’t traditional code-this challenges; instead, they help kids build the mindset, patience, and problem-solving skills that every great coder needs.
Challenge 1 tackles the frustration that everyone, yes EVERYONE, experiences when writing code by challenging ninjas to not quit and not let frustration win.
