Announcing the Unity Winners of our Sensei Game Jam!

It’s time to announce the Unity winners. But first, we have to brag about how phenomenal all the entries are. Our Senseis are the best!

Here are the winners of the Unity portion of our Sensei Game Jam:

3rd Place: Rockbot Rises

Creator: Masha Kiparuk (Castle Rock, CO)

Here’s what Masha told us: “3D topdown shooter, First half of the game the main character, a robot, goes through a maze to find his guitar, after he finds it, he goes through a small level, fights off enemies with rock music, and leaves on a ship!”

Rockbot Rises has some wonderful cutscenes and is a great story. We can’t wait to see more polishing on this one cause it’s so much fun to play.

2nd Place: Robot Rock

Creator: Krishna Bhatia (Coppell, TX)

In Krishna’s own words, “Robot Rock: You play as a robot named Rocky, and your goal is to collect your rocks that were scattered! Create arm platforms to solve each puzzle and get all your rocks back!”

We’re in love with not only this game, but also all the potential it has to be build out infinitely. More, please!

1st Place: Conquerors of Metal

Creator: Ricky Luo (Markham, ON)

From Ricky himself: “The genre of the game is a roguelike survival game. The game features upgrades, multiple playable characters and many enemies. You play as band members of Conquerors of Metal and fend off waves of crazed fans.”

And in the words of one judge: “Can’t stop playing this.” Enough said!

A Big Congratulations to All Participants!

We’re thrilled with our first Sensei Game Jam and send out both a big thanks and a huge congrats to all who entered. We hope you had as much fun crafting your creations as we did playing them. We’re already looking forward to the next ones!
