Code Ninjas Offers Summer Coding Camps Virtually and In-Person

As the school year officially winds down and families are looking for fun and safe activities for kids this summer — Code Ninjas has you covered! Centers across the United States and Canada are offering coding camps that engage kids in STEM and robotics, while bringing problem-solving, teamwork and social skills into the mix. Whether you are looking for camps that kids can attend in-person (with enhanced safety measures in full effect) or virtually, there are tons of opportunities to learn and grow with Code Ninjas!
To give hardworking parents a much needed break, Code Ninjas is giving away 100 FREE Camps this summer! At Code Ninjas we’re proud to provide fun and enriching experiences to kids in our communities. Roblox Royale
Create your own totally awesome battle royale video game (think Fortnite) in Roblox Royale! Roblox is a fun, user-generated online gaming platform that enables kids to quickly develop all kinds of amazing projects. Ninjas will work through a series of activities in Roblox to learn game building, creative development, and Lua coding concepts. Once they’re done, ninjas will have their own cool game to show off to their friends!
Program & Play in Python
Program & Play in Python is a fun crash course on the Python programming language — no previous coding experience required! Ninjas will code in Python to develop a strategy action game called “Attack of the Vampire Pizzas!” Our Code Senseis® will then guide ninjas in modifying the game to create their own unique versions. In this camp, ninjas will boost core coding skills, and have fun learning and playing with friends!
Minecraft Modding
Unlock the endless possibilities in Minecraft through our Minecraft Modding camp! Ninjas will learn how to alter the expansive Minecraft world in ways they never knew were possible. Using Blockly, a kid-friendly visual programming language, ninjas will complete activities in both an online modding environment (where the coding happens) and Minecraft (where the fun happens). Ninjas will then play the mini games they’ve developed with each other as a community of campers.
Storytelling in Scratch
Ninjas will learn how to express themselves and let their creativity shine through code! They will work together to have fun crafting silly, scary, and summer-themed stories in Scratch, a kid-friendly, visual programming language. Each team’s imaginative stories will then be shared to everyone. Through this camp, Ninjas will level-up their knowledge of basic coding concepts as well as their storytelling abilities.
With cities beginning to re-open, your kids’ health and safety remain our top priority. Centers that are able to physically re-open and offer in-person camps are doing so carefully by following both CDC and local guidelines. See how we’re responding as a brand here.
